
Japanese ski jumper Yuki Ito, a decorated athlete with 10 World Cup victories and four Olympic appearances, has announced her retirement at the conclusion of the current season. “I will aim for the world’s best until my very last jump,” Ito declared, underscoring her commitment to finishing her career at the highest level.

Ito, who has represented Japan in four Winter Olympics, made the announcement during a press conference. She reflected on her journey and voiced her hope to spread the sport’s appeal, saying, “I want people to experience the live atmosphere of ski jumping and feel its excitement.”
